Manette Fairmont received her Bachelor Degree in Fine Art and has studied abroad in England and Italy. She has received numerous national awards for her art work and has been a fine art judge for several prestigious art exhibitions. She has exhibited her work in many museum exhibitions as well as having her work published in the Fine Art Books: Best of Watercolor -Painting Composition, by Rockport Publishers, and a new book, Creative Computer Tools for Artists, " by Jann Pollard and Jerry Little, published by Watson Guptill.

Her paintings have been featured in several National Art Magazines. She is an elected Signature Member of the National Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Honor Society, the California Watercolor Association. Her original paintings are featured at "Gallery Ocean Avenue," on Ocaen Avenue in Carmel CA, and a new gallery on Cape Cod, Redwing Fine Art Gallery," located in Yarmouthport, MA.

She is also the curator and owner of her own gallery. The Fairmont Gallery, is recognized as one of the top galleries in the Bay Area for museum quality original oil, watercolors, pastels and photography. Her paintings and the work of other artists can be viewed at The Fairmont Gallery, in the Northern California Wine Country, north of San Francisco, on the Historic Sonoma Plaza, known for its quiet and intimate atmosphere.
